How to Efficiently Wrap, Box, and Label Electronics for a Move

By Warezone Relocations Team

Electronics are among the most expensive and most fragile items in any home or office. Our professional packing team at Warezone Relocations has the expertise to ensure your devices arrive safely at your new location.

Use Original Packaging When Possible

The best protection for any electronic device is its original box with custom foam inserts. If you've kept these, use them. If not, our team can source appropriate alternatives.

Wrap Screens Carefully

For TVs and monitors, use anti-static bubble wrap and then place in a TV moving box. Never lay flat screens on their side without proper support.

Backup Your Data First

Before packing any computer or storage device, ensure all data is backed up to the cloud or an external drive. This is essential regardless of how carefully the item is packed.

Pro Tip: Photograph all cable connections before unplugging anything. This makes setting up at the new location much faster.

Label Every Cable

Use coloured tape or cable labels to mark each wire. Bundle cables neatly with velcro ties and place them in clearly labelled zip-lock bags.

Pack Gaming Consoles Separately

Gaming consoles, AV receivers, and streaming devices should each be wrapped individually and never stacked with other items.

Control Temperature and Humidity

Electronics are sensitive to heat and humidity — a real concern in Dubai. Avoid leaving packed electronics in a hot vehicle for extended periods.
